Improving Safety, Environmental Protection and Operating Efficiency

The innovations incorporated into the Clearwater Project include a low-pressure SAGD operating design, vapour recovery, exhaust condensation and an expected near zero operating use of potable water. Each of these features is backed either by a redundant second system, by a monitoring system to make sure it’s working at all times, or both.
