Eliminating Odours

The Clearwater Project will not emit odours above strict Alberta Environment standards that are detectable past the plant site boundary. The project’s vapour recovery system virtually eliminates odours and has built-in redundancy to safeguard against failures. To confirm the performance of our odour-elimination system, we are installing a system of more than one-dozen odour receptors at Hwy. 69, the regional airport and the Saprae Creek community.
