Investment Proposition

Alberta Oilsands Inc. (AOS) is a ground-floor investment opportunity in a safe, environmentally responsible and sustainable SAGD bitumen development. With a corporate market capitalization of $25 million, no debt outstanding, $28 million cash on hand, AOS offers a significant value proposition to investors. AOS is working to crystallize this upside by advancing the Clearwater development (click here for details).

Currently AOS’s efforts are centred on bringing its Clearwater Phase I Project into development, using established SAGD technology enhanced with solvent. The development process includes comprehensive health, safety and environmental protection measures and a strong program of stakeholder engagement. AOS had invested a cumulative $50 million in project development. We estimate the Clearwater Phase I Project will require an additional $150 million in capital to drill wells, construct facilities and initiate production. We intend to finance Clearwater Phase I through a combination of debt and joint venture/partnership financing.
